You should post the great wisdom your second fortune decided to share as well.

This is the second time I have had a bird get into an apartment of mine. At least this time I did not have the animal control guy laughing at me.

In response to: Where We Left Off

First -- hell yes on back to school. And the work on the sub.

After six years in Farmville, my sister said I didn't talk like them either. But I figure time in Pittsburgh should balance me back to DC. It sounds good in theory.

Party time at Rick's place!

First, to say we need to play. Second to give you this link to share with Deb-Deb and Kim: http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b144622_rose_mcgowan_wield_red_sonjas_sword.html?sid=rss_topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories

And that ought to effe up something on this page. (;

In response to: USS Trout not to be saved

Rick [Member]
Thanks for posting! It's a shame to see her hauled away - one of the last subs that could have been turned into a museum without concerns over national security radioactive material. I also have an affinity for post-war ships - wish more of them would see life as museum boats.

Maybe one of these days I can make it down to Brownsville to see the ships getting cut up.

Ex-USS Trout was photographed this weekend passing through the Florida Keys on its way to Brownsville, TX for scrapping. The former submarine was down here for a few years while NAVAIR tried to make it into a working test platform.
